Excitement is, first of all, a nervous state of a person. Also, this concept means thoughts that fill a person with anxiety about the future and do not give peace.
Of course, in some moments, excitement can even be useful, but not excessive. If you feel constant excitement, cannot find a place for yourself and collect your thoughts, use simple and effective advice from psychologist.
1. Master breathing techniques. They will help reduce the level of anxiety, improve sleep, and you will be able to feel calmer.
For example, you can try the following: take a comfortable position, relax and focus on your sensations. Breathe in slowly, hold your breath for 5 seconds, and then breathe out slowly and deeply. Repeat this complex at least 5 times, as an accompaniment you can use relaxation music.
2. You can also try the “Relaxation through tension” technique. Gradually tense individual parts of your body for a few seconds (arm muscles, abs, leg muscles, etc.) and then relax them. Repeat twice for each part of the body.
3. Put your excitement on paper. Drawing skills are not important at all. Try to imagine where you feel the excitement, what it is (size, color, texture, etc.) and then draw. After that, analyze your drawing, what you want to do with it. Finish something – finish, tear – tear, etc.
